Economy Recoiling

This recoiling system produces tight, evenly wound coils following a slitting or other coil processing operation. It is designed for use as a spin-down tension recoiler to convert master coils into smaller coils. This system can also be used to salvage an unused section of a coil in a processing line.

The system is designed to recoil multiple coils. It can follow a slitting line, multi-blanking line, or other piece of coil processing equipment.

Specifications

Coil Winding Capacity: 10,000 lbs (4540 kg)
O.D. Capacity: 24” to 48” (610 to 1219 mm)
Producible Coil I.D.’s: 20” (508 mm)
Rewind Tension: Variable, 0-3,500 lbs. (0-1590 kg)
Line Speed: Variable, 0 - 150 FPM (0-45 MPM)
Material Thickness Range: .015” to .075” (.38 to 1.90 mm)
Minimum Slit Strip Width: 3” (51 mm) (including outside edges)
Drive: Variable speed based on application
